Maths Prototec
This is my math work I did today on prototec and it was really fun learning new things.
Island Breeze Performance
This morning Glen Taylor had a visit from Island Breeze. They’ve been around the world and saved New Zealand for last. This performance that they shared with us was fantastic. All of them come from different places but their group is from Hawaii ( That’s where I’m going at the of the year ). They had different performances one was a Samoan dance another one was a Cook Island and last but not least a Hawaiian dance. My favourite had to be the Samoan dance cause my friends and I kinda felt a vibe going on and Not just during the Samoan dance but through out the whole thing.
L4 Inference Work
This here is my inference work. This work was fun cause I had to write in answers that weren’t in the text
Real Numbers
Team Tui have been learning about real numbers. It is where you thing you count in different steps of numbers where you begun. For instance like { 1, 2, 3, 4,….} which continues on the right but if it’s like { -1, -2, -3, -4,…} it can continue both ways.
Reading
For reading we chose 2 task to do the 2 task I chose to do was secret code and smartphone task. This here is my work that I did.
Probability Games
Today for maths we played Probability Games. We had a game that we played before and it was called blocko. This game was basically you had to have 11 blocks and put them somewhere random on your paper and then there will be someone who has a dice and will roll it and then say out the number and if he calls out the number that one of your blocks are on you take it off. If you have all of your blocks off you win. after that we played some other games. The games my group and I played first was a card game where we had a list of things to flip over and my score was 7 success and 3 failures ( We were also given tally papers to keep score of our game points ). Next was bottle flipping and I got 6 success and 4 failures. Last was Greedy pig game and you had to roll a dice and put the numbers you got on there and add it all up and if you get past 50 you recieve a prise. That was our maths today.
William & Sargent – L4 Statistics
Me and my buddy Sargent both worked on completing our maths task today which was about statistics. We both learned alot during this session about graphs and how much different kinds of graphs their are. We still got a lot more to learn but we are getting their.
Inference Video
I think that “Inference” is putting ideas together that are not in the text or have not been given to. I also think that when you are Inferencing you have to think outside the box and also think about different answers and try and put those ideas or answers together to make one answers that could answer that big question.
